Jeff and Lisa - Utah Family Session

I can't believe how fast the time goes, check out one of my first post on the blog here with pictures of these girls back in 2010! This is my sister and her family visiting me in Utah. It was so nice to have a chance to get updated pictures of her family. I even got my mom to sneak in for a couple pictures!

Izabelle - Newborn Session

Loving this newborn session, there have been so many baby boys lately that I almost forgot how fun sweet little girls are to dress up. Remember Catherine's Maternity Session, here? Congratulations is due to mom and dad; Miss Izabelle is here. She's was only 16 days old during our session and just adorable. She has the cutest pouty lips and a full head of hair.

Catherine - Utah Maternity Session

I love doing maternity sessions, the mom to be is always glowing, dad is excited and nervous of the unknown. Some women don't get maternity pictures done, I wondered if I would before I was pregnant. I'm so glad I did, it's not about documenting the size of your belly or how your body changed but the moment captured in time, before your life changes. For the feeling you'll have looking at them before your baby arrives. All the questions you had and conversations you had with your baby in your belly. I look back at mine now and smile, it reminds me of how strong I am. I was able to carry a baby for 40 weeks, how amazing is that! It reminds me of all the kicks I felt, the baby having hiccups, all my worries I had, if I would be a good parent and the end of one chapter of my life. The "baby free" chapter. So my advise to any "moms to be", even if it's you by yourself, in front of a mirror. Take the picture, always take the picture!

Today I share my latest maternity session, this is Catherine, she's due at the beginning of October but we're not sure if baby girl is going to wait that long. Catherine is beaming, she and her husband Zack are expecting their first child, a baby girl. They're both so excited and already so in love. Congratulations Catherine and Zack, I can't wait to meet her.
